Here's a list of some of the companies Safeguard may have a hand in taking public over the next several months:
Who? Vision: Yes, that's really the name of this Lake Forrest, Calif., company, which makes little black boxes that allow operators to immediately identify users by their fingerprints. Initial uses are for computers, network security and cell phones. The registration statement for this company was filed back in mid-July, just before a market meltdown shut the IPO market in the fall. You could expect to see this company come public in the first half of this year.

US Interactive: A professional-services firm offering clients, such as the National Football League, IBM (IBM) and Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL), Internet and intranet-based applications. It is based in King of Prussia, Pa.
Integrated Visions: This company sells security software to the medical profession. The Sebastian, Fla., company's Privacy Curtain software enables secure and convenient access to computerized patient information on intranets and extranets.
