Let's say that "bandwidth" rules. Have you heard of the AOL / Bell Atlantic deal to implement 7 million dsl modems in 1999. Is it safe to say that dsl will be favored over cable modems. The big question is how necessary is NDS in the big picture. From my limited perspective I can see how NDS is great for intranets with regard to security and easy of network management, but how will it affect the "AOL" subscriber? Are we counting on CISCO, LUCENT, & NORTEL to use NDS for their routers, rather than an alternative(msft)going forward. Were is the real strength to NDS? How broad is its reach?
