A friend of mine pointed out to me several times that in 20 years, these threads will be actively researched...they'll be history. Imagine the lively term paper a high school kid might come up about then on this issue by reading here! Wow. Think about THAT! scary, indeed! I noticed in Popular Science a year ago the advent of "picodiscs"- wow- about the size of a penny as I recall, and they hold geee...I forget..seems it was in the hundreds of gigs...well, whatever..I can imagine owning a cheap little disk with the first 10 years of S.I. on it. Hey, if it costs next to nothing? Or will the network become the computer?
