The pre announcement IMO it was an effort by the company to keep investors informed and was factual truthful. The 4 th q is traditionally the strongest so the rev for q4 with or without the 800k being flat suggest what the company had said that the expected pick up has yet to hit due to slowing sales of old core systems and the pending sales of boards by oem's see the list of announcements in/wins. The other point is that the breakeven has been brought down to 28M US ie anything over this is profit. If you look at the projected dsp/dsp system and internal forcast for 30% growth going forward you get an idea of what kind of cash the company will throw off. The final point is that the company has hired a pr firm to help with the investment community. This is just in the info accumulation stage but I expect the company and management to benefit from the expertise of pr professionals. As Pat mentioned I am looking for major product announcements soon and more good things re backlog and business intake.
