I agree with you regarding how Qwest should be perceived (not as a internut company). I look at the following for some comfort: Qwest has a market cap of about $19B whiich compares to Level-3's $17B (I'm sort of amazed that Qwest only enjoys such a modest premium when it seems to me they are at least a year to maybe 2 years ahead of LVLT). Qwest's $19B also compares with WCOM's $140B -- it's 1/7th the size of WCOM. Now I think that is a reasonable comparable since WCOM is so well established and has such strong profit/growth prospects even from this high base. But I think QWST can aspire to faster growth (given its low starting base and just coming out of this huge capital spending binge on the network) with its low cost network and expanding possibilities and opportunities. By the way, I own all three companies and expect great things from all three. Relatively speaking, I expect QWST to have the best relative potential in the next two years. Just MHO.
