Personally I am not a knowledgeable overclocker, so perhaps
others can answer the question you put.

I don't think the 300A itself is out of the question yet,
though, especially if you already have the mobo.
Reports have been mixed about the non-Malay 300As, but at
any rate the worst that can be said from what I have read
is that the success rate of the non-Malay fabs at
overclocking has been lower.

There are, or were, places that would test a 300A chip for
overclockability before shipping. Minotaur still lists
a pretested overclockable 300A for $109 at up to 2.3v or
for $146 if you want to guarantee 2.0v, including fan.

That on-die cache running at 450mhz certainly makes a
snappy little screamer for $109 ...
