ALYA International, Inc.

NEWS RELEASE February 11, 1999

CSI Agreement Completed, Training to Start in March

Vancouver, BC -- February 11, 1999 -- Douglas Corbett, vice president of marketing and sales for ALYA International, announced today that ALYA and CSI Control Systems International ("CSI") of Dallas, Texas have completed a formal agreement for CSI to market ALYA’s Advanced Management Security System under their private label NetPoint Access™. Training of CSI’s technical group will begin in March at ALYA’s Central Operation in Vancouver, British Columbia.

CSI has committed to purchase a minimum $2,000,000 of ALYA products in the first 18 months of the agreement, with additional financial incentives for CSI as they reach the $5,000,000 plateau in the same period.

CSI’s CEO Wayne Stevenson said at a recent Echelon Press Conference held January 25, 1999 "CSI has recently entered into an agreement with Echelon Corporation to accelerate the adoption of open building control systems based on Echelon’s LonWorks® networks. Our agreement to carry ALYA’s LonWorks based security management system is a further commitment by CSI to move towards standards in the building controls industry. The customer becomes the big winner when they receive products that are interoperable and are produced by highly focused organizations such as ALYA."

At the AHR Expo 99 show last week CSI technicians were able to control equipment in their Dallas office from the floor of the convention in Chicago using NetPoint Access and the Internet. "The AHR Expo 99 in Chicago was a huge success for ALYA" said Mr. Corbett. "Our product was displayed in 3 booths including CSI and Honeywell Inc. The ALYA booth was boosted by Motorola’s WSSD (Worldwide Smartcard Solutions Division) demonstrating one-on-one with our potential customers the value of smart card technology."

CSI provides integrated information and control solutions for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings to customers on
all seven continents. CSI’s headquarters is in Dallas, Texas, with regional headquarters in London, England, and Perth,
Australia, and major offices in Beirut, Lebanon, Hong Kong and Warsaw, Poland. The company sells software and hardware solutions worldwide through 27 offices in six countries and with 200 value added resellers serving 38 countries. Website: www.csi-controls.com.
