Gary, there are few perfect analogies but the TV analogy does show there is some risk to being overly optimistic. on the other hand the head of Western Union saw no future in the telephone -g- . In fact , Graham was trying to help the hearing impaired with his invention initailly. so mistakes can be made on both sides. I use a Compaq Presario 2100 with a Cyrix 133 mHz , 2.1 G HD, 24 MB ram., 28.8 modem. I am satisfied for now. I spend too much time on the net and watch very little TV but I am not your typical consumer I was raised to be thrifty -cheap -g- by parents who lived through the Great Depression. I have never bought a new car and keep my cars a long time. Mike
