Mike, at least upgrade that modem, and add some memory. Come on, live a little <g>. That annoying whizzing sound coming from your system is the harddrive "seeking" more data to display. It diminishes greatly with a cheap memory upgrade. I spend too much time on the net and watch very little TV I hear ya. Just when I think the net gets a little boring, they spice it up with Lewinsky transcipts, or the SI (other one) swimsuit issue. Or more recently, MB and Earlie, try to tear me a new one <g>. Gary
