Dave,

I like to share with others it's just that I'm not that good at articulating to others what I mean. I have worked over 4 years to develop something that works for me and I continue too seek out more knowledge on a daily basis. Just because it works, most of the time, >>gg<< for me that does not mean that it will work at all for someone else. My best advice is for a person to take a chart and put it up on the screen, find an area on the chart were there was a move that you would have liked to participate in. Narrow down so you are only looking at this area and then apply different indicators, moving averages, trend lines, etc. and find what would have gotten you in when you wanted but more importantly what would have gotten you out with the least amount of damage or the best profit. Alot of people enter the market thinking they are right. I enter the market thinking that I am wronge until the market proves otherwise. That may sound stupid but it works for me. Then after you have looked at one chart and found what works for you go and apply the same set up to hundreds even thousands of charts to see if it works over a wide range of stocks. The bottom line is TA to me has been a lot of nights with little sleep and the continuing determination to find something that works for my trading style. If you are on a quest for "The Holy Grail" I think that you will find that it will always allude you BUT if you keep your eyes open while you are on your quest you will more than likely find something that will be profitable and work for you. To this day I continue the "Quest" and I think it is an important part of learning. If anybody finds the shortcut to "The Grail" let me know, I personaly think it's hidden behind years of hard work >>GG<<. That's my 2 cents worth.

Blake
