I didn't answer that question because I thought the answer was fairly obvious. Neither the K6-3 nor the K6-7 have been released. It is just as difficult to obtain a K6-III system as it is to obtain a PIII system today.

The Register says that K6-III will be officially released before PIII, but the time tables should be similar.

Do you think that it will still be as difficult to obtain a K6-3 system as a PIII system one week after the PIII is released? "Released" seems to mean "shipping in quantity" when Intel does it. Historically it seems to have a different meaning with AMD.
