Zoltan, on Geraldo last night they had Peter King as a guest... Republican from NYC I think? He claims that Delay tried to manipulate his not guilty vote on impeachment by approaching Hastert and trying to lessen his chances of chairing some committee. Apparently Hastert wanted no part in it and that was that. Anyway I was wondering about this.... first of all do you believe it is true, and if so, what kind of intimidation tactics does Delay have against everyone? Is this what happened to all the republicans in the house including Campbell? Because Campbell is a law professor - he knows that Jane Doe #5 stuff was shoddy and inadmissable, nonetheless he used it as an excuse for voting for impeachment. It could be that Delay is the entire problem with the republicans.... maybe if just a few of these guys get purged, Delay, Barr, Rogan and some other house managers, then the republicans might become a reasonable party again? (There is very little chance of removing Delay, Barr etc I understand).
