I have not followed the INTC leap pricing recently but keep in mind that even though the price dropped the volatility has kicked up. I suspect the volatility part of the prem has increased sufficiently to cushion an non-optimal entry, that certainly occurs for shorter-term options. So probably you would not have gotten the leap much cheaper although the stock fell another five points. Check it out and see if that is the case.
