Robert-

Yeah, as a matter of fact, I did somehow miss the State of the Union addresses. Had to wash the dog. If you think such a public forum necessarily provides genuine insight into a president's true agenda, well there is not much I can say to you. SUAs are simply a public statement of intent for a specific year, recognizing what is possible politically. That is especially true of a president facing a Congress controlled by the opposition. They are intended to rally forces. Do you think Clinton is any less predisposed to the socialization of health care than he was several years ago? He is not, but he knows a grandiose approach will not be supported.

I am suspicious of your claim that Clinton has "acted upon and implemented more of his platform than any other President in the history of modern America". One of my telling memories of this administration was this incident. A reporter challenged Mike McCurry, when he was press secretary early in the Clinton administration, about promises Clinton made that he had not acted upon. McCurry was disarmingly candid when he shot back, "Well the president kept all his promises he intended to keep". Oh.

Instead of coming up with insults based on my name, I suggest you discuss ideas- but I gather that is foreign to your modus operandi. You seem to think you are really saying something with your references to "King Sherwood" (has a nice ring to it, I'll admit) but it really displays the vacuous namecalling of those with nothing intelligent to say.
