you've uncovered the rosetta stone...... the fact that the options house uses b-s to price, is more of a reason why an individual shouldn't base their investments using b-s. now you are not only assuming underlying issue direction, but you are trying to read the mind of those that set the bid/ask...which can change in a heartbeat.....IF YOU ARE A SELLER/WRITER YOU IGNORE B-S, BUT USE THE STOCHASTIC OSCILLATOR.....in a chart form to logically conclude oversold or over bought conditions....it as these times you sell your options....keep it simple and you will prosper....
