Ed,

I was watching the tick by tick for most of the day and I must admit I'm surprised at what I saw(not that I'm a TA type). What surprised me was that the vast majority of the big blocks(>1000 shares) went off at the ASK. In total I would estimate that far more shares were sold at the ASK than at the bid. Does this mean anything?

My amateur interpretation was that the MM's were unloading inventory or perhaps using excess inventory to shake off some of the smaller players in order to make room(at a great price) for the big boys. Does this make any sense?
