You're both right. If the net liquidating value of your portfolio increases as a result of your particular investment strategy, each of you win, and there is no one on this thread who will argue with results.

But as each of you know, the market is a zero sum game. For every $1 won, there is $1 lost. If you both are winners, somebody's portfolio lost money that went to increase the net liquidating value of yours, effectively validating your investment acumen.

FWIW, options specialists use the Black-Scholes formula to price the bid and asks. Doesn't make it right, doesn't make it wrong. That's just the way it is. Generally, the thinking is that it is hard to argue with a Nobel lauriate.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the knowledge each of you have shared in your posts and wish all Dell threaders success in their Dell investments. Good luck on Friday.
