OK, so go to Alta Vista and type "Buy Perfume"

First thing you get is a big banner ad for the "Fragrance Counter."

Next, click the "Answer" button for where can I buy perfume and cologne. You get another ad for "The Perfume Mart".

Next click the "Answer" button next to "Where can I buy the woman's fragrance Acqua di Gio". This takes you to the site "Fragrance Net" ("the world's largest discount fragrance store").

Look down at the hits. Numbers 2 - 10 are hits for "Fragrance USA".

Nowhere is "Perfumania" in sight!

OK, so what does this prove?

(1) The deal, whatever it was, hasn't been implemented yet. Certainly not in time for Valentine's Day.

(2) Perfumania has a heck of a lot of competition.

(3) Is the deal with Alta Vista exclusive? We don't know. As it stated in the press release today, "Company officials were not immediately available to give more details of the deal."

How much do you think PRFM paid for this marketing agreement? Again, we don't know.

Am I trying to convince you to sell? Of course, because I'm short. Full disclosure. Do your own due diligence and make up your own mind.

(I also posted this on the "Longs only" board. They have a right to the same questions and concerns.)
