Misunderstanding re:dual floating point execution units in K7. These ARE double precision, not single precision. It is possible that one of these units does double floating point add and the other does double floating point multiply, but since multiplies are often paired with add's, it should make both the gaming crown and the workstation crowd extremely happy.

Its not clear yet whether there are two 3DNow! execution units or just one, but even the K6-2's single 3DNow! unit is capable of occasional peaks of 2 3DNow! ops (4 floating point ops) per clock cycle.
PS, bought some more AMD today.
