Okay... 6 weeks later and I am back. I admit I sold the shares I had last December at a nice little profit, but not as much as I could have had. I decided to go with a sure thing and take profits while I could.

Well, I just bought back in today, and the reason is simple. The lowairfare.com service is fantastic. I purchased tickets from IFLY for a trip to Miami last week, and not only was the IRIS system the simplest online travel purchase system I've ever used, especially with the live agent, but they saved me $60 over any other company I tried including The Travel Store and Preview.

The interactive agent feature is incredibly efficient, she was able to fit my exact criteria in a matter of minutes and send me an e-ticket.

For what it is worth, I am well connected with many travel writers, one of whom wrote a book about the airline industry called "Rapid Descent." My girlfriend is a well-known cruise writer (IFLY recently expanded into cruising). The day after we bought the tickets (to go to the yearly cruise convention Sea-Trade in Miami) she received a call from a USA Today travel writer asking her about online travel sites. My girlfriend couldn't stop raving about lowairfare.com. The writer said she would go to the site and check it out.

Bottom line... the website is great, they beat the price of competitors, and the stock is dirt cheap.
