GST - I wrote something on the psft thread recently about this.... this year is going to be gloomy for software again but it seems to be already built into the stock prices. Siebel is the only strong software player currently.... I2 a distant second. I didnt want to touch anybody else regardless of how cheap they were until I saw that they were retooling their business for the internet and e-commerce opportunities because the existing products are all mature now. That said, psft presented at Montgomery and it looks like they are doing exactly that.... they have an analytical front end portal and are working with the web.... lots of opportunity in enterprise webapps but none are ready now, so you will have to wait for the payout. I am waiting until March/April to look at buying although it looks like they have hit rock bottom in the 19 area since they didnt go down much yesterday. If you buy psft be prepared to hold it long term, however.
