Jim:

No fee policy?

Oops...There goes the revenue stream.

The only revenue NM gets from E4L is from 50% of the membership fees.
(The other 50% goes to CD for maintaining the site). As in other E-commerce sites, products are distributed with no yield. On other sites, such as ONSL, revenue is from advertising.

It seems to me that you are proposing that they radically change their fundamental business plan. If that is the case, why are you vested with the co?

Now there may be a long-term hidden plan of spinning off the E4L site in the future. If nothing else, Lehman is a consummate deal maker. Who knows what his long term outlook is?

Besides, I, for one, despise being barraged with unwanted ads. Paying $70 (after using the site free for 2 months) and getting a $75 long distance card, does not seem to be such a bad deal.

I paid my fee here (didn't you?), to be spared all of the ads (with their loading delays) that one experiences with Yahoo. It's a much better experience.

Can you honestly be sure that the public in incapable of the same decision with E4L?
