Another couple of days like this and we are at 140 before release of the PIII. PC demand will pick up upon its release due to perception more than performance. There are people like me who want the fastest computer (brand name---Intel of course) and will pay extra for it. Therefore no AMD chip will satisfy me. I would rather have a PII than an AMD which might be faster. Gotta go with the "designer" label. This is how people think -- whether you like it or not. AMD chip should go into only the cheapest computer for it to sell and Intel is making this difficult also. What a company!
