Because they are getting it ridiculously cheap. AURL is practically giving it away to stay in business. And it's not just them, practically the whole PC industry is betting that CREAF will not win it's suit, or that even if they do win, there is no real consequence to them. It's almost a no lose situation. They feel they can always make a deal with CREAF later. They KNOW that CREAF will not seek damages against them. But I believe that they are truly betting that the court will NOT require AURL to stop shipment in any event and that CREAF will at the best have to sell them a license.

I think CREAF is truly resented throughout the industry for its seeming arrogance and its success at maintaining its margins. All the box makers think they should get all the margins and the component makers should just be thankful that they allow them to stay in business.
