To All: Here's Something for a boring day...

The subjext is Artificial Blood.
I posted four picks last week, one of which was SMTG (Somatogen) Eli Lilly owns I think 14% or more of this company.
Anyways, there are other competitors in this field, but I think SMTG has the best solution.
A very good explanation can be found on:
techstocks.com
This company has pretty good fundamentals, and I beleive if they have positive results in their phase II test and move on to phase III, this stock could really move. The volume has been pretty good lately and it has held nicely in the 13 to 14 range.
When I first started looking at this stock on 1/22/97 it was trading around 10-11 range.
I know most of us here are not biotech literate, but if you take a look at the explanation posted at the link above, anybody who has taken first year biology or high school biology for that matter will understand as to why SMTG has a very viable and a "safe" solution to manufacturing artificial blood.
Inputs from any MDs or Vampires lurking on this thread would be helpful.
