And while we wait, and believe me I am holding and waiting for SNMM, as well as my other bets, WINR, GGNC, INLD, GLOW, TTLN, and GLCCF, yes I am REALLY into this sector, but there are other areas I watch while waiting for the gaming sector to heat up.

I just did pretty well with SATH, and now you might want to read this...

First it's talk about SHRP (Sharper Smage) soon to open an auction site, and now it's a rumor of a buyout of SPGLA (Spiegel Catalogue).

Below are clips from various message boards on 2/11/99

Buy recommendation by a prominent newsletter (Market Digest Online) that says there's a rumor that SPGLA is going to be bought out by a major Internet company. Serious buying coming into the stock today. The newsletter actually says that SPGLA could see $20 based on this rumor.

Federated STores + Fingerhut = (name brand stores, brand name merchandise, customers) + (internet prescence, massive distribution system, another set of loyal customers). Spiegel is just like Fingerhut. Maybe Dayton Hudson (mervyn, target, hudson, etc) is interested in Spiegel? Or maybe Walmart? Or even the down-trodden KMart? Someone is going to buy Spiegel!!
