Hi Marvin - Here is another view point regarding CBS....From what I can tell, CBS needs to do something quickly and BIG to top the rest of the current industry deals. A CBS, SUNW, Netscape and AOL deal IMO is too far out in left field (too many parties involved)....but you never really know.

On February 4, CBS (CBS) chief executive Mel Karmizan announced that he would consider a public offering of CBS Internet assets, which primarily consist of a 38 percent stake in MarketWatch.com (MKTW) and 12 percent of SportsLine USA (SPLN).

"The objective is to create a stock with an Internet-rich valuation, which CBS could then use to acquire other Internet properties.

That's a weak plan...."
