I wouldn't worry about the record revenues. The more AOL grosses, the greater the loss. That's why I don't understand the MM's emphasis on growth and market share. The projections for ad revenues, 3rd party marketing fees, profits from the "online theme park", etc., have been grossly overstated. That's their problem. Unless revenue from those sources increases by 2000%, the company will continue to run in the red.

Don't count Case out yet though. I fully expect that tomorrow on CNBC that Case will announce that AOL will make available for download some free shareware that will fix all Y2K problems.......if you can get through.
