You are one hell of a person and a GREAT American.
I don't post very often,but I had to to-night.
Your country truly deserves better.The U.S. has been a good friend to the world for a long long time.Sometimes ,as all good friends do, you
try too hard, and in doing so can get on peoples nerves.Most all of the world knows you mean well, and for that we all forgive
the odd transgression, as good friends do.However, in this important test your country is now going through I can't understand how your elected representatives and (according to the polls) the people of America can not fire your leader.His was not a small transgression!
He lied in your court, he lied to his people.You deserve better!The U.S.has evolved into the leader of the world.In that role comes a heavy burden.The world looks to you to show the way of what is right.
As distasteful and tough as the decision would be to impeach your president your country must do this.Unfortunetly, the good and right things that Mr. Clinton and the Democratic party has done over the last few years has to be put aside. His transgression to the American people and your excellent system of government is unforgivable.
I watch in great interest and sadness to the outcome of this epic trial.The world is watching and hoping America does the right thing.
