PCNTF (Pacific Internet) - NEW NEWS FROM BLOOMBERG: Net Success Lehman recently arranged one of Asia's most successful initial public offerings, taking Pacific Internet Ltd. public on the U.S.'s Nasdaq stock market. The firm, one of only three online service providers in Singapore, raised $51 million and saw its shares more than doubled on their first day of trade. Tyree said Pacific Internet is an example of the type of Asian securities investors around the world are willing to buy. '' I think that the Pacific Internet deal hit the right theme,'' he said. ''One of the great things about (it) was that the book -- the investor base -- came from all over the world. There was a lot of U.S. interest, but the book came from Europe and also Asia. There was intense interest in the Pacific Internet deal from this part of the world.'' And there's more like it to come, he said. ''Asia is going to have tremendous growth in this sector over the next many years, I'm convinced,'' Tyree said. ''We're already working hard on some other opportunities. Because they're not public yet, I can't go into the names. But I certainly can guarantee you that there's a lot to come.''
