Raymond: I am not sure I am understanding your dilemma entirely. Is it that you think the technological advances brought by Broadcom's chips won't be very necessary? Or that they won't be cost efficient? I can tell you -- strictly from an historical perspective -- that vital uses will arise with time (on top of those we know of right now). It's like saying in 1970 -- who needs cable when I can get the major networks already with my antenna and there's no other stations I'd want to get. Who could have imagined that in 30 years cable could be the primary carrier for an internetwork into the home?
