If sputtering is all that is needed to be done, why are not the disk drive makers jumping on it (except Maxtor, of course)? I remember reading in one of the recent AXC filings with the SEC that "certain disk drive manufacturer showed interest in KM but only for use with MR" (I do not remember the exact words). I am trying to figure out the recent drift in the stock price - if KM-MR is 12 months away and for "some" reason (may be significant engineering changes) disk drive manufacturers are not "jumping" on KM for use with Inductive heads, that might expain why there is no new buying interest, as you all know wall street analysts are pretty short sighted (earnings wise), no mutual fund manager wants to put his money in a stock that probably will go side ways for a while. I must tell you that I first got in AXC at 10 and bought more when the stock fell thru 6.25 last year and bought a lot more after Maxtor's agreement and average about $10. Never sold even once, in 1999 I know I will at least have a 10 bagger! I am trying to figure the down side from a fundamental point of view so I can average down even more. I first found SI in about October of last year, how I wish I knew about this thread earlier, my average price would have been lot lower, especially since I have follwed this stock (price wise) since $3.5!
