Yongzhi...

You have misinterpreted Ted's comments.

Plus if you would like, I will provide you with links to a number of Ted's other reviews of a wide array of y2k software though you should get a sense of Ted's thoroughness based on the PINC review I provide below..

(In this post ted talks about who he thins will be the winners on y2k solutions Message 6768015 )

Ted was being diplomatic because he has to be due to his stature and knowledge of y2k.

I don't have to be as diplomatic and found the whole presentation in the paid for review by the wall street research group too much HYPE to take nd I find the need to re-boot the computer nine times to be something of a joke.

The overstatement of the y2k problem in this "review" was almost farce, and diminishes by association what other products this company made also provide.

Your affirmative review of the product without testing any other y2k software also demonstrated a severe lack of desire for the slightest modicum of objectivity pertaining to this part of the company's product offering.

Now during my debates with Ted on PINC, I downloaded and tested 4 products and just judged them on ease of use and the interface. However, I unlike yourself did NOT pretend to suggest that the product I had supported was better or worse than its competitors or even viable for that matter. I became aware of TEd through this PINC thread and helped Ted acquire a free copy of PINC's software for his review since I had been in contact with this company..

These links are Ted's review of PINC's software..

Again I defer to Ted on y2k issues and that's why I made him aware of your statements and the excessive hype put forth by the "news' letter.

After ted's review I sold my shares in the company . However, after Ted's review, the company impressed me by redesigning their product incorporating many of Ted's critiques and comments so I still "watch" this company's stock.

Now I pose some (some again) y2k questions that maybe you do and maybe you do not know the answers to.....

1. How many of China's computers are non- y2k compliant? Pre-1997 systems still in existence.

2. How many people have access to computers in China, are they as prevalent as they are here in the States? (I have my own answer to this question, but I'd like to hear your's).

3. What other y2k products are being distributed in China? Are these software products being pirated just like many other consumer products have been notoriously done so recently (actually PIRATING is still happening) in China?
