Many many people would strongly debate your assertion that China is moving rapidly to becoming a Democratic system..

Especially not one like we have here in the US with constitutional rights of freedom speech, the freedom of association, habeas corpus, and the other amendments contained in our Bill of Rights.

Though many now also question what type of "democracy" we still have in the United States as well, especially with PAC's and low voter turn out...the US itself seems to have evolved more into a plutocracy than a system of representational democracy for and by "We the People".
