Dear Robear, as I was reading this, and I think much of what is said should be printed out to hold that thought permanently, since spiritual understanding is murcurial, and floats away just when we think we have grasped it firmly, and find that over and over and over to truly understand any of it we must return to the Word, well, in all that I noticed we all see the same reality hidden in the code of God through words which can only be interpreted to us properly by the divine workings of the Holy Spirit.
The Third Heaven. AH! If there were no heaven #1, heaven #2 and Heaven #3, I doubt a person with the incredible brilliance of Paul would have confused the issue by using the THIRD HEAVEN specifically.
Reason? That we are NOT accurate in our stupidity of human-humanistist based comprehensions to actually believe that were Charles Manson to do a death bed number and confess Christ as an insurance policy against getting his most just and well deserves deserts in hell, that our God who Jesus points us to continually will actually stand in that Day with his arm around Charles Manson on one side, and his arm around Francis of Assisi on the other, and beam largely to us all and say, "see----to me there was no difference at all in what both of these boys did."
So much for human interpretation. Yes, I got for the Third Heaven idea passed on to us by Paul who say it in person, and most certainly if I can crawl to the periphery and be allowed to hide and look in, that will be enough for me.
The new heaven and earth. The only proof of that is the curious words of Jesus--"will (have more) in this world, and in the world to come.
That is a discussion that could easily take up several years however, the possibilities and explanations of the New Heaven and NEW EARTH that appears for another 1000 years.
Then to have thoughts like Christ. The scripture of Paul: Put on the mind of Christ.
Have you noticed that after every solitary or serious group reading of the WORD that all minds are flooded only with the thoughts of Christ and these thoughts spray off into every other thing we can imagine? That is why the Word is so despised, and why even the Christians are kept out of it with silly entertainments 24 hours a day.
I look forward to more of your observations.
