GST,

Well I am very impressed. I believe that your analysis of the economic events was (and is) very insightful.
All the news channels ascribed yesterdays runup to bargain hunting in the internut group (now that is a novel interpretation of the word "bargain"). Today I asked my Morgan Stanley broker about their reason for the selloff. He said his firm explained it as profit taking.
The man on CNBC said the Asian markets closed higher yesterday because the US market was higher, and he was very puzzled as to why the SP futures were -9 pre open.

Congratulations on calling it before it happened. By the way I re-established the 400 shares I had covered in yesterday's panic, and added another 400 short amzn at 107 this morning.
