steveK - I am interested in your buddy's feedback too. I was kind of wondering how successful the first show really was, and kind of waiting for the net result from both shows. Regarding the first show, would 1000 tents even cover the cost of the show? What number is "well over 1000"? 1300,5000,...? Who were the purchasers and what was their purpose? 100 each to Kmart, Walmart, REI etc. would be a spectacular success. 1500 to some guy with a string of 10 stores would be pretty useless. I didn't want to hammer Jon for that kind of data, but will after the second show. If they have some positive results, they better go public with them. Projections based on current orders would be nice, but probably aren't realistic to expect.
When I coughed up my change to buy into the hype, the hype said what a hell of a demand/ interest there already was. All they lacked was production. These monster shows should confirm or negate that theorum.
I still like the progression we've seen, which Jon has posted and analyzed before. We have a bank account, we have product shipping, we are theoretically done diluting. It's show time! Either these things start flying off the shelves, or it's a bust. These big shows bring more buyers to the demo than ten man years of pounding the sidewalks. I understand some lag time while buyers confer back at the office and do sales forecasting etc. I expect and penny stock psychology demands, some concrete updates about what's transpiring. Also real profit margins as production and shipping costs are accrued. Hoping for the best, but down 90%,
Mike
