Programmer's Paradise(R), Inc. (Nasdaq: PROG), the international computer products marketer, stated today that sales from its newly enhanced and expanded webstore at www.pparadise.com are running at approximately 43% over the sales level reported in the fourth quarter of 1998. In a year-over-year comparison, the current rate of first quarter 1999 Internet sales is anticipated to reflect a 205% increase over first quarter 1998 Internet sales.

Book titles from Prentice-Hall, Inc., Microsoft Press(R), Sybex, Osborne/McGraw- Hill, Ventana Press, and Macmillan Publishers, as well as interactive and video training titles from CBT Systems, Keystone Learning Systems and Viagrafix Corporation will highlight the new section.
- The Programmer's Paradise main website www.pparadise.com now features online support with immediate realtime access to customer service, technical support representatives, webmasters and licensing specialists. Based on the topic selected, requests for assistance are automatically routed through instant mail or traditional e-mail to appropriate personnel for immediate review and response.
