Drilling Started Today At Vein 27 Isaac's Harbour
VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 1999--Indocan Resources Inc. (OTC BB: IDCN - news) announced today that it has commenced the actual drilling of core samples at its Isaac's Harbour, Nova Scotia site. This is expected to reveal many new veins previously not recorded. The hole length will be at least 300 meters. Our drilling company, Eastern Diamond Drilling indicated they would work through the weekend and have the first hole complete in six or seven days. The assay results will be published promptly thereafter. The Company web site can be viewed at www.indocan.com where the results will first appear.
Sometime during the drilling, Nova Scotia government officials are expected to arrive for a photo opportunity. They are very excited that Indocan Resources is re-opening the Nova Scotia gold fields. The Company president will be on-site all next week as well to view operations. President, Jeffrey Bruhjell said ''We are pressing as hard as possible to meet the deadline for showing our core samples and their results by assay at the PDAC in Toronto, March 14 to 17.''
