But, usually when you have to settle
with the SEC... it is never positive.

Mr. Cormier,

If GE was completely out to lunch with their analysis of the resources in Bolivia, why would the SEC let them go? I have to admit I am new to the investing world and been in it for about 2 years. (GE since those early days) This particular settlement was offered by the DENVER SEC office to GE. GE simply said ok. ( as I understand it) Again, my question is, if the SEC had GE in their grasp with evidence, why would they let them go after BD has completed the results of their survey?

Ok sure GE and aparentely BD hasen't released the results of their survey but c'mon I'm sure its done and SEC looked at it and realized that their claims are unfounded.

Looking forward to your response.

Miles
