Besides, I HATED cartoons, except for Fantasia...

Gracious. My formative years are unimaginable without reference to Rocky and Bullwinkle and Bugs Bunny. What disappoints me is that cartoons now are utterly devoid of subtlety, whereas the great cartoons of my youth were laden with humor, often much too sophisticated for a seven year old to understand, so that you could see the same cartoon five years later and laugh at all the jokes you'd missed previously.

My favorite, though, was a little known series called Crusader Rabbit and Rags the Tiger, which had villains named Simone Lagree and Dudley Nightshade, places with names like Nothing Atoll.
