Not so. QNTM hasn't really stumbled much since they faced death in the face many moons ago. SEG's struggles initiated this current cycle. WDC has completely marginalized themselves. And MXTR, while doing supremely well, depends far too heavily on business from Dell. When Intel first supported Ultra/33 in their chipset, QNTM owned the market for those drives for an entire product cycle, including at Dell. The rollout of Ultra/66 and Ultra160/m could yield similar benefits.

As for valuations, you're neglecting relative pricing. Interest rates are down, and equity prices are far more dear. Look at Micron.
