I odn't remember the exact question and answer, but it wasn't about pleasing God. It was more to the tune of , that without belief, I couldn't truly understand the scriptures.
Basically, I had questions about Chrisitianity.(Again, I stress that I am not picking on Christianity, I have questions about many organized religions, including Judiasim) The responses I got, is that I had no right to question God, and that with my mindset, I would never understand.
With all due respect, IMO those are not answers. With all due respect, they are the answers one gives when they have no other direct answer.
