Dean...Don't assume the jsut because a couple of brokerages or brokers are recommmencing a buy that they are a)hyping the stock or
b)crooked. There is alot of money made out there in the market in companies that never recover a shovelfull of ore.
Here is a little history on the geology of Madagasgar. Approx 450mm yrs ago it broke off from the main continent of Africa along with India, Australia and Antarctica. If you look at what is currently being mined in countries that were at one time immediately adjacent to to what is now Madagasgar you would see that they host large deposits of Gold Silver Copper and stragegic minerals such as Chromium etc. When I discussed this with a reputable geologist that I know he said "I would be falling down surprised if the geology was not very similiar in makeup on Mad." When I look at the activity that is going on in this company don't be so quick to dismiss it as a hype. They are definitely hunting in elephant country. If they discover anything even near to the size of the deposits in Africa, stockholders put in by these supposedly crooked brokers/promoters are going to be very wealthy. The market is inherently risky and junior mining stocks particularly so. If you don'tlike the risk you can always buy stock in some bank or mutual fund with the associated low risk and low return. I once heard an investment advisor say I'd rather risk a dime to make a dollar than risk a dollar to make a dime. Before you dismiss this as all hype make a phone call to the company and find out what their up to...
