i must plead ignorant...i know not of information which keeps the market in or not in a state of equilibrium.... i can not base my investment decisions on the esoteric...i only can look at info, current or a bit old, like pre market open, that gives me an indication of the specialist inventory....it's reflected in the bid and the ask figures that one can see real time...this along with previous market close gives me all i need to set my positions...i try to keep it simple...too much knowledge sometimes prevents decision making..... i would have gladly sold you dell 140's(zdeah) this morning...taking the 2400 premium you paid, closing it out at 2200...making a quick profit...but i would rather wait until dell is overbought and get an additional 1000 per contract...the ta tells me i'm better off selling puts against cash today then covered calls....good luck!
