Clinton has no more support for an ultra-liberal agenda now than he did when he failed to take over the health care system early in his presidency. He may try to ram his agenda through on the back of his "victory", but he will fail. He didn't win the public's support. He was acquitted by jurors that were either biased from the start or fearful that the consequences of a conviction were worse than acquittal. By next election, few will care about Clinton or the House Managers and if we elect a Democratic House, we will put a Republican in the White House to offset. We'll probably do the latter anyway. Gore will not be our next President.
