I agree CL. As an IRC veteran, I can assure you that you can't even imagine the amount of spam on irc... Much worse than yahoo. Not to mention channel security, you have every 14 year old kid on the planet and each one wants to 'hack' channels plus there's lag time etc etc. With SI you eliminate a bunch of that stuff just by making it a pay site and SI provides a long term message storage base.
