WestEnd, if this is the company in question, was an NN affiliate and while I doubt there's been any revenue stream --- obviously not --- there'll no doubt be a tax write-off for the investment itself. In the scheme of things, a drop in the bucket.

Sort of like in the market --- win some,lose some --- with the overall goal to win more than you lose.

NN's ATM business is booming and if you look at the huge fiber optics systems being installed around the globe, it doesn't take much imagination to figure out where the market's headed. Yes, there are pot-holes along the way, but to focus on the temporary inconvenience is to miss the larger goal of the journey.

Of course, being rational in an irrational market is one of my fatal flaws.
