Wow! Who would that be? They have the Imax Everest film out here at the High Tech Museum and when it opened Biedleman (?) came to give a talk and I went.... it was really fascinating because the film was made after that "Into Thin Air" everest disaster and I had read the book so I had a frame of reference about Everest. He also had slides about K2 and apparently K2 is much tougher than even Everest.

I periperally knew someone who climed Denali and lost some toes. Why do they do it? I know, I know because its there.
