IMO Clinton et. al. are using the "divide & conquer" approach. Most of the country is quite happy with low oil prices. So what if Steve Largent's district is getting hammered? or Gov. Bush's for that matter... Low oil is keeping the stock market up. Should be interesting to see if BC can reach the finish line in year 2000 without the whole mess blowing up in his(and our) face. No pun intended!
